Two weeks of recapping in a row … quite unexpected, but I'll take it.

Barring any "stat changes" … here is a recap of Week 6 …

Yankees Suck (139.73) over Who Dat Nation (84.83)
YS got bank (20+) from Aaron Rodgers, LeSean McCoy, Mendenhall, and the Jets D. Whereas, WDN didn't update his roster so he started an injured Blount and a Beanie Wells (Bye). He had one 20+ performance (Colston), and three 10+ point performances (Schaub, Crabtree, and Forte). WDN's bench wouldn't have helped - and YS left more points on his bench anyways. YS is 3-3 and Who Dat Nation drops to 2-4 moving to week 7.

Alex Morgan Hottie (137.87) over My Vick Hurts (92.07)
In the battle of 1-4 teams; AMH took the victory. Leading the charge for AMH was Romo & Gore (both 20+) with 10+ from six other spots. In fact, AMH only had two spots below 10 (one at 8.8 and another at 7). Very consistent day for AMH across the board. MVH had the opposite - no 20+ players - and only four above 10+. MVH did leave 29.6 points on the bench - but it wouldn't have mattered. AMH moves on to 2-4 one spot ahead of the last place MVH 1-5 in the Division 1 standings.

LA Terps (100.53) over Heat Seeking Nipple (76.57)
LA Terps didn't do too well, but still managed to pull out the W with 10+ performances from Manning, Holmes, Jones-Drew, Best, and Benson. Meanwhile, HSN is reeling with 4 players with less than 2 points (D. Moore, P. Thomas, V. Davis, and D. Bess). No real bench support for HSN either. Both teams are 3-3, with HSN holding a slight tie-breaker edge in Div. 1.

Dick Sporting Goods (116.13) over Tebow's Sluts (105.20)
Both teams entered 3-2, but DSG pulled away with a huge day from Ahmad Bradshaw (32 points); and the combination of Tom Brady and Wes Welker made the difference - since DSG had no other players in double-digits, but he still managed to score 116+ points. Meanwhile, TS got a solid day from Michael Turner (27.20 points), Newton, and Graham. But not enough from the other spots to overcome DSG. DSG is now 4-2 atop Div. 2 (tiebreaker over ZB), and TS is tied for 3rd in Div. 2.

Zapp Brannigan (104.23) over Goodell's Minions (67.60)
ZB still managed to overcome his projected score - even though Jason Campbell (1.93) was his QB. ZB got 10+ points from 5 players, and solid performances from 3 others to makeup for Campbell's collarbone. Meanwhile, GM couldn't capitalize on the injury with only 1 player (Vick) in double-digits. Horrible day for GM. Anyways, ZB is tied for first in Div. 2, and GM is sliding to a tie for third in Div. 2.

The Turd Fergusons (131.80) over One Man Gang (83.67)
TTF had consistent days from all of his spots, getting 10+ from all but two positions (9.8+ for all but 1). Very well-rounded effort, with Freddy Jackson leading the charge again. OMG got a good effort from Stafford (23.47), but only three additional players in double-digits; and too many low efforts (Owen Daniels, Kicker). Perhaps OMG will be better once his Mathews and Fitzgerald come back from the Bye week. TTF is still the #1 team in the league at 5-1, and OMG is slipping to the land of 3-3, but that is still good for a tie for second in the Div. 1 (and he owns the tie-breaker).

The standings are still pretty tight, especially with an 8-team playoff. With a 12-team league, a .500 record (especially with tie-breaker help) should get you in to the playoffs.
