WhoLurks Football Year 3, Playoff Semis

The first round of the playoffs didn’t produce any close matchups and was as about as exciting as watching a women’s college basketball game so we’ll move on to what’s ahead in the semis. Three lower seeded teams moved on to the semis but in this league who really is a favorite?

#1 LA Terps vs. #5 Alex Morgan Hottie
The Terps had a huge day from MJD last week and will need more of the same from MJD against the Falcons on Thursday night. Interestingly, the Terps have the ATL Def. and MJD but I see Gabbert throwing a couple picks and MJD scoring a couple TDs so everyone is happy in fantasy land. Best Mode going up. Looking at a couple favorable matchups for the Terps, I like Eli vs. the Redskins in a big way and I think Steve Smith will score more points than the Yahoo experts think against Houston.

Alex Morgan Hottie was trailing the Sluts going into the Dallas/ New York Sunday night game and the defenses forgot to show up so the Sluts went down. The Hotties have to be happy that CJ2K gets to run all over the Colts this weekend and I expect Hakeem Nicks to have a good day vs. the Redskins. Demaryius Thomas is my sleeper this week and has become the Tebow’s favorite receiver. I would think he’ll have a few big catches against the worst defense in the league.

Both teams are riding 6 game winning streaks. This can also be called the Sports Authority California Bowl as both of owners are marketing managers in California. Winner takes all.
I’m taking Alex Morgan Hottie in this one and Tony Romo won’t f- it up this week.

#6 One Man Gang vs. #7 Turd Fergusons

One Man Gang is also what you could call Rob Gronkowski and if people weren’t getting Tebowed all over the place, you got “Gronked” would be the most popular phrase this season. Interesting matchup for Gronk this week against the Denver D and I’ll be there in person to see who the hell is going to cover that guy. Although Yankees Suck had two fantasy studs, Rodgers and McCoy, they didn’t get enough production from Davone Bess and Mendenhall to advance. Adrian Peterson returning to the lineup this week should be a nice boost for One Man Gang but Toby Gearhart filled in nicely last week.

The Turds scored the least amount of points by a winning team last week and found a way to piece together enough points. Zapp Brannigan sat Julio Jones and Carson Palmer instead going with Alex Smith and Vincent Brown…28 point difference between those two…ouch. The Turds have favorable matchups this week: Tebow vs. New England’s terrible D, Darren Sproles inside vs. Minnesota and finally AJ green against the beat up St. Louis secondary.

Gallagher and his squad are the last remaining hope for the state of Colorado in Who Lurks year tres. Gallagher is also all in on the Tebow bandwagon. This lately hasn’t worked out well for him but all he does in win. Brody vs. Gallagher is the rubber match this season. Gallagher having won week 6 and Brody in week 13. I’ll un-biasedly stay on the Tebow train in hopes of seeing a Broncos fan in the championship.
